What Olera collects on-device

What Olera routes to third parties

When you ask Olera a question, your prompt (and any attached photo) is sent to a model provider for inference. This goes through our own Cloudflare Worker backend — the model API key never ships in the app binary. We hold no persistent logs of your prompts. The model providers we route to:

What Olera does NOT collect

Product analytics

To understand which features work and where the app can improve, Olera records anonymous product-usage events (for example: onboarding steps completed, a screen generated, a subscription started) using PostHog (EU region). These events are keyed to a random, app-generated install identifier that is not linked to your name, email, Apple ID, or device advertising ID, and they contain no prompt text, message content, or photos. We use this only in aggregate to improve Olera; we do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising.

Your controls

GDPR + CCPA

For EU users, our lawful basis for processing is legitimate interest (delivering the service) plus your consent for optional features (calendar, mic). You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings.

For California users, Olera does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by CCPA. You have the right to know, delete, and non-discrimination, all satisfied by the in-app Delete-all-my-data flow.
